Why HRW’s website blocked in Thailand? (Part 2 and end)
11/12/14
As for Vietnam, information on the situation of human
rights in Vietnam by HRW is
primarily based on the exploitation of internet - where the enemy forces,
organizations and individuals unwillingness to Vietnam
still daily spread false news, erecting the facts and distorting Vietnam’s
policies. Not only that, HRW also “actively set tele-interview” with objects
who have legal violations of Vietnam’s
law, keeping contact with their relatives to exploit one-way information,
creating forums to help them make slanderous allegations and false accusations.
The
so-called report of human rights by HRW always include the individuals were
sentenced to a jail term for violating the law by People's Court in Vietnam such
as Bui Kim Thanh, Tran Khai Thanh Thuy, Le Cong Dinh, Le Quoc Quan, Cu Huy Ha
Vu, Nguyen Van Hai (Hai “Dieu Cay”),... In the past year, Human Rights Watch
also has many very absurd activities which have never been conducted by the UN itself.
Sometimes they send letters to Vietnam to ask Congress ensure the amended
constitution to meet all international standards of human rights”, at other
times they sent a letter to Prime Minister of Australia to expressed “concerns”
because he did not raise the issue of human rights with the leaderships of Indonesia,
China, Vietnam during the meeting on the sidelines of many conferences,
including Asia - Pacific Economic Conference.
Particularly,
in June 2014, after Vietnam’s representative announced at the UN Human Rights
Council the list of 182 recommendations approved by Vietnam among a total of
227 ones were raised by other countries and international organizations in the
framework of the second Universal Periodic Review (UPR), the HRW aimed at the left recommendations and
considered that “Vietnam rejects this call making people wonder about sincere
commitment to respect the human rights of Hanoi”. There is no reason why HRW did
not see this as a very high acceptance rate (80.17%) in the history of the UPR
activities, demonstrated seriousness, sincerity, openness and determination of Vietnam while Vietnam continues strengthening and
developing human rights? 184 votes out of 192 ballots for Vietnam to become a
member of the UN Human Rights Council has no meaning for HRW or they want to
refuse this fact?
The mistakes
in political views, lack of objectivity and biased attitude of exposure,
assessment (seems to be manipulated by forces that want to use human rights as
a tool to interfere in the internal countries), a combination of gathering
partial and intentional information,... HRW frequently distorts, misrepresents
the situation of human rights in many countries around the world, including Vietnam,
that is unacceptable action. From an organization created for protecting and
promoting the fundamental human rights throughout the world but by such
activities, HRW has been severely discredited. If HRW continues to follow this path
of absurd and unjust, then nothing can guarantee as such actions not recur in
other countries, meanwhile how HRW’s image will be like?

Well this is an International watch dog run by the UN.
And stop making a fool of yourself.
It's good that we have organization which watch over us and pull the plug. We need whistle blowers. There is pro and con over this.
There is NO WAY we can trust you and your lies.
Ask a drunkard if he's drunk;
Ask a con man if he has cheated;
Ask a thief if he has robbed;
Ask a liar if he has lied;
Their answers are the same, "NO! You're making FALSE ASSERTIONS!"
Vietnam’s Constitution guarantees the freedom of speech and freedom of peaceful assembly
Enough of your bullshit. Stop defending the indefensible.
true or false only the citizens knows. Thumbs up thanks
