On July 08th 2018, the Repatriation Ceremony of remains of U.S. servicemen who died during the war in Vietnam was held at Da Nang International Airport, Vietnam. Attending the Ceremony, for the Vietnamese side were Representatives from the Board of Directors of Vietnam Office for Seeking Missing Personnel (VNOSMP) and, for the U.S. side were Ms. Mary E. Tarnowka, U.S. Consul General in Ho Chi Minh city, Colonel Tuan T. Ton, Defense Attache of the U.S. Embassy in Hanoi, Representatives of the Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency and the U.S MIA Office in Hanoi.
The Vietnamese side’s representative handed over to the U.S. side 02 (two) boxes of remains which were recovered by joint and unilateral excavation teams during the 131st Joint Field Activities from May to July, 2018.
The remains had been jointly reviewed and concluded by Vietnamese and U.S. forensic specialists in Da Nang that they might be associated with the U.S. servicemen missing during the war in Vietnam and were recommended to bring to Hawaii, United States, for further review.

The seeking of the remains of U.S. servicemen missing during the war in Vietnam is humanitarian cooperation between the Vietnamese Government and the U.S Government. This is the 144th hand-over of American missing servicemen’s remains since 1973./.

Vietnam is so humane to do that. The U.S. came and made many damages to the country. Now America should do best to compensate.
Vietnam attaches great importance to and expects the Vietnam-US comprehensive partnership to continue to further grow in a stable, extensive and effective manner.
The country wants to further deepen the Vietnam-US comprehensive partnership for the benefit of the two countries’ people, contributing to peace, stability, cooperation and development in the region and the world.
U.S. should stop complaining about Vietnam's human rights record, it does not have that right.
Come to invade and now America gets Vietnam's help to bring back the remains. It's so strange and so tolerance of Vietnam.
This invader even asks the victim country to have more human rights. So hilarious is that!
