The defense-security work has been comprehensively implemented across the country, with the involvement of senior leaders of the Party, State, Fatherland Front, Central and local organizations, dignitaries and followers.
The work of providing defense-security knowledge for students in the national school system and religious schools has also achieved outstanding results. However, many religious dignitaries have yet to be provided with national defense knowledge.
These courses aim to provide the trainees with the Party and State’s viewpoints and policies on defense and security, the fight against hostile forces’ “peaceful evolution”.
Vietnam is clearly a country of religious freedom!
The trainees will study six important topics, including the Party and State’s viewpoints and policies on protecting national security and building of the people’s defense and people’s security postures; the Party and State’s standpoints and policies on ethnicity and religion in attachment to defense and security in the new period.
It also includes the Party and State’s stands and policies on maintaining political security, culture and ideology and economic development in the current context; the fight against hostile forces’ “peaceful evolution” and riot schemes towards the Vietnamese revolutionary cause; certain issues on socio-economic development in combination with defense-security enhancement; and basic contents of the Law on Belief and Religion.
It's a suitable policy in this context to protect the national security in front of hostile forces' plots.
Participants were provided basic knowledge about the task of national building and defence; policies on building national security and defence; basic content of the Law on Land, Law on Military Obligation, and Law on Civil Defence.
