News about Son Doong Cave on America’s television with the
participation of the Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam has deeply impressed
Vietnamese people, especially social networking community.
Son Doong cave is world's largest cave, located in
Quang Binh province, Vietnam.
It is found by a local man named Ho Khanh in 1991 and was recently discovered
in 2009 by British cavers, led by Howard Limbert. The name "Son
Doong" cave means "mountain river cave", it was created 2-5
million years ago by river water eroding away the limestone underneath the
mountain where the limestone was weak, the ceiling collapsed creating huge
skylights...
The TV viewers were not
only socked to see the unique beauty of Son Doong Cave, but also surprised and
admiring the Deputy Prime Minister, who was backpacking into the cave to join
Son Doong introducing program of the
American television network ABC.

Deputy Prime Minister answered questions in English fluently. The short video

In the interview with Ginger Zee, the host of Good
Morning America, Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam affirmed the Vietnam's
socio-economic development and sustainable tourism strategy, contributions of
tourism sector to the national growth as well as increasing income for people.
The Deputy Prime Minister introduced the attractiveness of Vietnamese culture
and landscape, the hospitality of the people. Deputy PM Dam wished to welcome
more international visitors. He also thanked ABC News has chosen Vietnam
for this special program. The television network reported live from inside one
of the world's most beautiful caves in the central province of Quang Binh
(Son Doong cave) on May 13 from 6am American time (6pm Vietnamese time). About
six million subscribers watched the Southeast Asian country's beauty spots in
its high rating Good Morning America show

program maker said that this program would be a knock-out to America
viewers. Mr. Luong Hoai Nam,
a Vietnamese travel agent wrote on his personal panpage: “It’s rare to have an
impressive photo like this one to promote Vietnam tourism to the world. In
the photo, the backpacker was...our Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam”
Discovering Son Doong
cave is a dream of international-level backpackers. There have been nearly 400
people who had set their foot in Son Doong cave so far. This doesn’t only about
the high expense, but also this tour is adventure tour and just for people who
are healthy and experienced in adventure.
The Deputy Prime Minister
was also known as he were sharing his experience in overcoming difficulties to
fulfill his dreams and aspirations or playing football as a powerful striker,
and now he is an ordinary backpacker to promote the country’s tourism.

and English-spoken Deputy Prime Minister has made Vietnamese youth admired and
