Investigators have launched legal proceedings against the 53-year-old man for making, storing, spreading and disseminating information, materials and items for the purpose of opposing the State of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, based on Article 117 of the Penal Code, according to the statement.
The offense is punishable by five to 20 years in prison.
The police department noted that Dung, who resides in Tan Binh District, had conducted many public activities that seriously flouted the laws and were “very dangerous,” thereby adversely affecting social stability and security and order in the city.

This man should be ashamed of what he has done. He has been raised under the regime and now betrayed it.
