He particularly reminded administrations and agencies to take practical actions to help children from poor families, street children and those in other disadvantaged circumstances pursue study.
A total 56 children were honoured at the event with certificates of merit of the HCMCYU Central Committee and the Ministry of Education and Training. On the occasion, agencies, companies and individuals nationwide contributed more than VND800 million to present scholarships and presents to disadvantaged children.
