Foreign friends appreciate Vietnam communist party’s leadership
2/2/20
Philip Fernandez, a member of the Canada-Vietnam
Friendship Society (CVFS) and the Communist Party of Canada, has affirmed the
indispensible leadership role of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) in the
country’s achievements.
He made the statement in a recent interview granted to the Vietnam News Agency
on the sidelines of a workshop held by the CVFS in Toronto on February 1 on the
occasion of the 90th founding
anniversary of the CPV (February 3, 1930).
Vietnam’s increasing prestige and position in the
international arena demonstrate the political strength and ideology of the CPV,
as well as its ingenious ability to seek ways to deal with the current
complicated international situation, he said.
That Vietnam became a non-permanent member of the
United Nations Security Council for 2020-2021 with an almost absolute number of
votes has proved the trust of the international community in the CPV, he added.
Louis Lang, a representative from the Communist
Party of Canada, said the workshop, themed “Communist Party of Vietnam: 90
years of accomplishments and international solidarity,” created an opportunity
to learn about the role of the CPV in the modern society and the gathering of
people to solve social matters.
He said the people-to-people relations between Vietnam and Canada have been
reinforced through respective visits, particularly the remarkable contributions
of Vietnamese students in Canada.
Participants at the workshop expressed their
impression and admiration when seeing documents highlighting the glorious
milestones of the Vietnamese nation such as the birth of the CPV, the
successful August Revolution 1945, and the Dien Bien Phu Victory in 1954.
Portraits of late President Ho Chi Minh by Canadian
artists Jean-Maurice Gélinas and Guy Lapierre were put on display at the event.
Works featuring the Great Spring Victory of 1975 and
the Dien Bien Phu Victory in 1954 were also showcased to help Canadian friends
understand better about the leadership role of
the CPV in the cause of national liberation, reunification, building and
defence./.

We need to affirm the country’s determination to build socialism and pointed out specific tasks to be fulfilled on the road to socialism.
Over the past 90 years since the foundation of Vietnam Communist Party, under its leadership, revolutionary cause of Vietnamese people has achieved great victories with historical and timely significances.
Historical reality shows that all victories during the process of party leadership are rooted in theoretical cognition, in the ability to apply and creatively develop innovative scientific theories of Marxism - Leninism into country practices.
Selecting revolutionary way of associating national independence with socialism is Party’s tremendous achievement in revolutionary theories in terms of national liberation.
It is completely consistent with the movement of Vietnam revolution and era development trend that transition from capitalism to socialism advances across the world.
The international communities have expressed their admiration for the fight for national liberation of the Vietnamese people, the late President Ho Chi Minh and the Communist Party of Vietnam.
It derives from the specific conditions of a colony and people’s burning aspirations of independence and freedom.
The achievements of the national reform towards socialism under the leadership of the CPV over the past 90 years, considering it as a great source of encouragement for the communist and international workers movement at present.
Viva The Communist Party of Vietnam!
Vietnam Communist Party successfully led the August Revolution in 1945, conducted two resistant wars against "two major empires", standing among pioneering nations to fight for the demolition of enslaved peoples, to build sustainable independence that is closely linked with freedom, democracy and people happiness, with equality and social progress.
National independence associated with socialism has become a red thread, serving as both the goal and the motivation, both the demand and the source of all Vietnam revolutionary victories.
Vietnam Communist Party has developed and has constantly been developing theoretical system into a people's war doctrine in Ho Chi Minh era.
People's war is not only national liberation from the invasions, but at the same time freeing working people from all shackles of oppression and exploitation.
We warmly welcome representatives of communist and workers' parties, as faithful friends who have always stood with the people of Vietnam throughout all stages of the Vietnamese revolution.
Achievements of theoretical awareness on the ruling Party and Party building have empowered and enhanced Party’s strength, leadership capacity, fighting capacity and role of the Party leadership during the national renewal process.
