Foreign friends praise President Ho Chi Minh - Vietnam’s great leader

The AJU newspaper of the Republic of Korea (RoK)
recently posted an article by Prof. Ahn Kyung-hwan from the Chosun University,
who affirmed that late President Ho Chi Minh wrote a new chapter of history for
Vietnam.
In his article, the professor said that President Ho Chi Minh is respected by
the Vietnamese people as the greatest hero in the country’s history, adding
that on the occasion of his 100th birth anniversary in 1990, UNESCO recognised
him as a hero of national liberation and great man of
culture of Vietnam.
The Korean scholar described the late leader of Vietnam as the embodiment
of patriotism who
devoted his whole life to the struggle for national independence and freedom
and the people’s happiness.
He also highlighted “Nhat ky trong tu” (Prison Diary), a collection of poems Ho
Chi Minh created while he was imprisoned by the Chiang Kai-shek administration
in China, as a masterpiece of Vietnam’s literature.
Besides, the scholar also reserved part of his article for the childhood,
family and hometown of Ho Chi Minh, noting that the knowledge of the late
President is critically important to the promotion of cooperation between the
RoK and Vietnam.
Meanwhile, the Egyptian
Gazette on May 16 devoted the entire page 6 to late President
Ho Chi Minh of Vietnam on the occasion of his 130th birth anniversary (May 19).
In the article, author Hany Abdel Fattah briefed the readers on the life and
career of the Vietnamese leader and his role in the birth of the Communist
Party of Vietnam (CPV), as well as the journey of President Ho
Chi Minh in Egypt and his friendship with late Egyptian President Gamal Abdel
Nasser, which set the foundation for the current bilateral ties.
The article also touched upon outstanding socio-economic achievements of
Vietnam over the years and potential for the two countries’ cooperation in the
coming time.
Fattah reiterated that President Ho Chi Minh is among legendary historical
figures in the 20th century, and under the leadership of the CPV and the
President, Vietnam has obtained great victories.
The President’s leadership in the struggle for independence in Vietnam had a
strong influence on revolutionary
movements across the world, especially in Africa and Latin
America, he remarked.
The Egyptian people have a great deal of respect and warm sentiments for the
Vietnamese leader, the author wrote./.

President Ho Chi Minh – a talented leader of the Vietnamese Party and people, a great teacher of the Vietnamese revolution, a hero of national liberation and a cultural celebrity who dedicated his whole life to the cause of national liberation, and for the sake of freedom, democracy, peace and social progress.
Many exhibitions marking the 130th birth anniversary of the late leader (May 19), will also be held at President Ho Chi Minh relic sites, several local museums and universities across the country.
President Ho set a fine example in patriotism, revolutionary virtue and morality, and knowledge, and is a great source of encouragement for generations of Vietnamese.
He will live forever in the thoughts of the nation and the Vietnamese Party and people are proud of his efforts and grateful for his sacrifice and devotion to national independence, freedom, and happiness.
A series of arts shows will be organised at public places across Hanoi, such as Ly Thai To Statue and Park and My Dinh Stadium, while mobile outdoor cinemas will screen films in remote areas and at industrial parks.
The President is an outstanding symbol of national affirmation, who devoted his whole life to the national liberation of the Vietnamese people, contributing to the common struggle of peoples for peace, national independence, democracy and social progress.
It also highlighted the late leader’s important and multifaceted contributions in the fields of culture, education and arts.
Various activities have been organised in all continents through the network of Vietnamese representative offices to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh.
A total of 35 statues of President Ho Chi Minh have been installed in 22 countries worldwide, apart from relic sites, many museums and memorial sites dedicated to the Vietnamese leader have been built and upgraded.
Many countries have also named schools, streets and squares after President Ho Chi Minh and issued publications and made films featuring his life and career.
His ideology has become a guiding star for the Party and people to win victories in the past, at present and in the future.
He devoted his whole life to the national liberation while tirelessly striving for peace and progress in the world.
For Vietnamese, President Ho Chi Minh has always been a shining symbol of revolutionary morality and an example of lifetime sacrifice and devotion to the glorious revolutionary cause of the Party and the nation, wholeheartedly serving the Fatherland and the people.
President Ho - the founder and developer of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) – used to emphasise that “the Party is not an organisation for those who want to gain power and get rich. It must work to fulfil the task of national liberation, making the country rich and prosperous and its people happy.”
Like a river must have water sources and a tree must have roots, revolutionary people must be truly imbued with revolutionary morals. If they are not, they cannot lead the people.
He remained persistent and determined to overcome all of the difficulties he encountered along the way, with his sights set on a noble purpose: freedom for his people and independence for his Fatherland.
President Ho and the Party led the Vietnamese revolution in overcoming numerous difficulties, building revolutionary organisations and forces, and successfully conducting the historic August Revolution.
For decades afterwards, until the end of his days, President Ho spent his life fighting for the independence and reunification of the nation and the freedom and happiness of the people.
Not only devoting himself to the national cause of liberation, President Ho also struggled for the progress of humankind and for global peace and friendship among nations.
not only Vietnamese people but also many people worldwide love him and have great respect for his words and deeds.
