Cable news network CNN listed top 10 marvelous destinations in Viet Nam in 2021.

The list include Thu Bon River (section flowing through Hoi An town, Quang Nam province), Son Doong Cave (Quang Binh province), Sa Pa (Lao Cai province), Can Tho, Nha Trang (Khanh Hoa province), Phu Quoc island (Kien Giang province), Son Tra natural reserve site (Da Nang City), Hoi An (Quang Nam province), Dong Van Karst Plateau (Ha Giang province), and Cao Dai Temple (Tay Ninh province).

The winners were honored for beautiful landscapes and deeply cultural traditions for visitors to enjoy. In addition, COVID-19 prevention measures are strictly observed in these sites.

Viet Nam's pho bo (beef noodle soup) ranked second among the world's 20 best soups compiled by news channel CNN. CNN in 2018 included pho in a list of the 50 tastiest dishes on earth after polling its Facebook readers.

Earlier, a 30-second video titled “Why not Viet Nam” was broadcast on news broadcaster Cable News Network (CNN) starting from last October to advertise Vietnamese tourism worldwide. The video is set to be shown on CNN until mid-November in an effort to attract a greater number of tourists to the country following the second wave of the fight against the novel coronavirus (COVID-19).
