More greetings to Việt Nam on National Day from foreign leaders

For the last 90 years the Communist Party of Vietnam has been at the vanguard of the struggle for national independence, liberating the country from almost a century of domination by Western colonialists and leading the people to full victory in the 30-year resistance war against powerful aggressors.

Vietnam's achievements were a source of encouragement!

Vietnamese State is the state of the nation, by the nation, for the nation, which had full legal capacity to carry out key national tasks -- the resistance wars and the construction and defence of national independence and freedom.

Many nations and the international community have expressed high appreciation of Vietnam's achievements in recent years.

Việt Nam has surmounted countless difficulties and challenges to firmly maintain independence, reunify the country, and obtain many proud development achievements.

Vietnam has achieved many successes in socio-economic development, demonstrated in the high prestige it enjoys in the international community.

Since the country’s reunification, the Party has led the Vietnamese people in carrying out renewal, modernisation, and industrialisation.

Vietnam's achievements in building socialism and renewal cause over the past 90 years have not only been recognised by our people but also highly appreciated by the international community.

We took this occasion to appreciate the precious support and effective cooperation from countries, international organisations and partners, businesses, investors, friends, and people around the world for Việt Nam.

Việt Nam needs support from and win-win cooperation with the international community to help achieve fast and sustainable development.

Over the past year, despite pandemic-caused challenges and global uncertainties, Việt Nam has gained proud successes, including overcoming the pandemic’s impact, staying one of the economies with the fastest recovery and development in the region, and especially remaining an active and responsible member of the international community.

National independence associated with socialism is the main thread throughout Vietnam revolution over the past 90 years.

During nearly a century of struggle, labour, creativity, our Party and people have gradually become more aware of the path to socialism, and implemented the goal of "rich people, strong, democratic, fair and civilised country”.

Our country has achieved great achievements of historical significance, strong and comprehensive developments compared to the time before renewal. The scale and level of the economy have been raised. People's lives, both physically and mentally, have been remarkably improved. Our country has never had such structure, potentiality, position and international reputation as today.

This is the pride, the driving force, an important resource, the belief for the entire Party, the entire people and the entire army to overcome all difficulties and challenges ahead, and continue to step firmly on the path of comprehensive renovation, synchronous, rapid and sustainable development of the country.

All areas of the country's political, economic and social life are implemented synchronously, vigorously and effectively, supported unanimously by cadres, party members and people, and trusted by international friends.

After a period of hardship in Vietnam, today has risen up with humanity. Vietnam stands tall, proudly integrates and goes hand in hand with humanity.

Vietnam was also one of the first countries to successfully control SARS, the A/H5N1 flu, and the A/H1N1 flu, while preventing a number of dangerous emerging epidemics such as the A/H7N9 flu, Ebola, and MERS-CoV.

The country’s achievements in multilateral relations over the years have boosted its growing international status. In terms of bilateral relations, Vietnam has maintained stable and positive relations with all countries worldwide and now has 30 strategic partners and comprehensive partners.
