Human Rights - Slogan used by the US and hostile forces against Vietnam

26/3/14
Human rights throughout history have always been a target, a slogan to fight against oppression, exploitation and injustice of the peace-loving people around the world. However, human rights have been abused by some powers in a negative purpose.
For Vietnam, the western countries and especially the United States have taken advantage of the blatant guise of human rights to falsely charge the Vietnamese State with lacking of freedom and democracy, and that whom who struggle for freedom and democracy in Vietnam has been badly treated ... Whether the U.S. and Western countries feel "embarrassed" when they speak out such lies? That answer is definitely “not”! Moreover, by July, 31th, 2013 U.S. House of Representatives passed the so-called Vietnam Human Rights Bill HR1897 with the wrong information and judgement for the purpose of destroying and distorting image of the Vietnamese State. America has taken the utmost unreasonable demands such as calls for putting Vietnam back on the list of countries of particular concern; issueing reports about Vietnam trafficking in persons; supports for Radio Free Asia in maintaining the Vietnamese broadcasts; interesting in blogger activities ... through it, the drafters and supporters assume the bill will "promote human rights in Vietnam" .... And to incite the masses in favor of their views, they tried to take advantage of the mass media to propagandize that the human rights situation in Vietnam has been deteriorating, and there’s no freedom and democracy in Vietnam. They support the the allegation that the U.S. government should enhance sanctions to put pressure on Vietnam.
I would say to you, the persons who are thoughtful and knowledgable, who are in favor of peace in the world will never believe those allegations and misrepresentation of the so-called Vietnam Human Rights Bill HR1897. They will struggle to counter the wrong perspective, hostile acts against the people's interests that the world is heading.
On August 28th, 2013, the Vietnamese – American Association ( a bilateral friendship organization established to promote understanding, friendly relations and cooperation between the people of Vietnam and the United States) has written an letter to the Americans people. That praised Vietnam - U.S. relationship after 20 years of normalizing relations, that the two sides together have upgraded relations to "comprehensive cooperative partnership". Thereby, all members of the Vietnamese – American Association also expressed concerns and objections about the Vietnam Human Rights Bill HR1897. They said: "Ignorance and lack of accurate information about Vietnam in general and religious activities in Vietnam in particular are causes of this wrongdoing of the House of Representatives. The adoption of the Vietnam Human Rights Bill HR1897 has negatively affected the atmosphere of friendship and cooperation relationships between the two sides. And they are also calling passionately that the U.S. Senate, friends and partners who have supported the Vietnam - U.S. relations consider the adoption of the bill, and the same others in future.
And we - the people of Vietnam who love peace and friendship will stand together to prove to America and Western countries that Vietnamese people always have rights to the pursuit of happiness. And the Americans will have to ask themselves that if they have human rights and democracy in their country or not?./.

If human rights and democracy mean doing what we want then the U.S. would never have human rights and democracy.

Annual Reports of the U.S. on human rights for other countries are unfounded and inaccurate.

Does the U.S. handle any threat to the independence and the existence of the United States? If the answer is yes then the Us does not have the status to criticize other countries about human rights and democracy.

America has always denounced democracy and human rights situation in the country excepting the limits of democracy and human rights. That is the legal framework.
