17 sustainable development goals

Maintaining sustainable growth coupled with ecological environment protection, effective natural resources management and use,… is among sustainable development goals by 2030 of Vietnam.

This action plan will be legal basis for Vietnam to implement the commitments to international community, expressing Vietnam’s responsibilities for joint efforts of sustainable development.

The goals are interconnected – often the key to success on one will involve tackling issues more commonly associated with another.

The SDGs work in the spirit of partnership and pragmatism to make the right choices now to improve life, in a sustainable way, for future generations.

These are all huge achievements in line with the targets set out by the first Millennium Development Goals. Unfortunately, extreme hunger and malnutrition remain a huge barrier to development in many countries.
