Unfounded allegation about Vietnam's Human rights (Part2 and end)

13/8/14

The second notable point referred to “hindering freedom of religion”. It should be confirmed immediately that religion in Vietnam has never developed as strong as today. Currently, many religions are in in the presence, especially the major ones in the world such as Christianity, Buddhism, Hoa Hao, Cao Dai, Muslim... All religions are admitted to law and government at all levels create favorable conditions for religious people hold ceremonies in accordance with their wishes. Article 24 of the Constitution of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam says:
1. Everyone has the right to freedom of belief, religion or non-religion. The religion of equality before the law.
2 The State respects and protects the rights of freedom to belief and religion.
3 No one can violate freedom of belief, religion or misuse beliefs and religions to violate the law.
The political program for national construction in the transitional period to socialism (supplemented and developed in 2011) also stated: "Respect and guarantee the freedom of belief and religion for people under the provisions of law. To struggle and strictly handle all violations of  freedom to religion and beliefs, taking advantage of religious to prejudice the interests of the country and the people”. Once again, we extract the contents of the political program for national construction in the transitional period to socialism (supplemented and developed in 2011) and Article 24 of the Constitution of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam to prove that the second point of the author in the article published on the BBC Vietnamese had no basis, he just got the vague, unrealistic points. Maybe the author of this article purposely did not know about the religious situation in Vietnam to implement their plot against the State of Vietnam, destroying the peace and happiness of the Vietnamese.
The third point in this article referred to the so-called forced labor in drug rehabilitation centers”. It should be stressed that the policy of the Party, the State of Vietnam to establish drug rehabilitation aims at bringing drug addicts back to the community, with relatives, family and society. Thus, educating and cultivating the will, the strength for the drug addicts to return to everyday life can not be called a forced” activity. Everybody knows that: A drug addict not only harms himself but also involves the normal life of others, causing social discontent. Such a man needs social assistance, who is conceived to become a normal person. It is the kindness of the people and society of Vietnam.
Reading and reflecting from evidences in society in Vietnam we can see clearly that the words in the July 26 article posted on the BBC Vietnamese included biased, unfounded opinions, even bad intention of a person or a group of people. They may also lack of information but they may also deliberately refuse to learn about the good things that is currently in Vietnam’s society.
