FIDH playing a cat-and-mouse game with Vietnam
2/4/14
Recently,
VOA Vietnamese and some overseas websites have transmitted information:
According to the International Federation for Human Rights (FIDH), Vietnam
is the largest prison in the Southeast Asian region to detain political
prisoners... These people are called political prisoners in Vietnam by FIDH
including “the dissidents” commit an offence tocarry out activities aimed at
overthrowing the people’s administration under Article 79 of The Penal Code;
“undermining the unity policy” under Article 87; “Conducting propaganda against the Socialist Republic of Vietnam” under
Article 88... More specifically that the individuals have anti- party
activities against Communist Party, State and people of Vietnam such as Nguyen
Van Ly, Cu Huy Ha Vu, Le Cong Dinh, Nguyen Tien Trung, Tran Huynh Duy Thuc,
Tran Anh Kim, Dinh Nhat Uy, Bui Thi Minh Hang, etc.
The
State of Vietnam has repeatedly asserted that there is no political prisoner in
Vietnam, only the
individuals violated criminal laws are arrested by the procedure-conducting
agencies of Vietnam
in accordance with the provisions of law. The essence of so-called “political
prisoners” or” prisoners of conscience” in Vietnam according to the
International Federation of Human Rights that is nothing else of methods,
tricks to advocate, promote and contribute for acts against the State and
people of Vietnam by the hostile forces. This is clearly a lie of “a
cat-and-mouse game” in order to mislead public opinion stemming from an
attitude of prejudice and unwillingness to Vietnam of the so-called
International Federation for Human Rights Vietnam.
That
behavior is really unacceptable because it is purely subjective, unilateral,
preiconceived idea and distorting the truth. So what a pity of this act
conducted by an organization founded with the purpose of promoting human rights
activities worldwide as the International Federation for Human Rights.

We are very curious for what the people like Nguyen Van Ly , Cu Huy Ha Vu , Le Cong Dinh , Nguyen Tien Trung , Tran Huynh Duy Thuc , Tran Anh Kim , Dinh Nhat Norway , Bui Thi Minh Hang do for this organization so that they are supported strongly by as such?
Let's see what they do for our country then make conclusion on our decision.
Nobody see their contribution to the country excepting to demonstration, opposition, distortion so they are called political prisoners and prisoner of conscience
How many comments and inaccurate conclusions have this organizations made on the situation of human rights and democracy in other countries around the world then?
How do the organizations and Western countries against Vietnam on human rights and democracy distinguish between prisoners of conscience, political prisoners and who violate national laws. If every prisioners are concluded like the way of those organizations about the crime in Vietnam then all are prisoner of conscience and political ones.
Vietnamese people are fed up with the rhetoric of this organizations taking advantage of democracy and human rights against Vietnam.
We believe in the protection of peace, stability and territorial integrity of our state and government.
The more progress on democracy and human rights Vietnam gets, the more opposition from hostile forces to Vietnam.
This is another exact form of intervention in the internal affairs from other countries to Vietnam.
We chould be concious about the organizations' arguements on the human rights and democracy situation in Vietnam.
