Strategic Mistake

22/7/14

The fact that China increased tension over the South China Sea continues to be protested by international public opinion as well as the scholars from this country.
Rep. Eni Faleomavaega, Ranking member of the House Foreign Affairs Subcommittee on Asia and the Pacific of the U.S Foreign Relations Committee has called on the House of Representatives to follow the U.S Senate made stronger voices to force China to terminate behavior leading to tensions in the South China Sea. “The action by China leading to tensions in the South China Sea is a bad signal for the region and the U.S, especially when this is not the only local or regional, which is a serious problem affecting both the world community. In my opinion, China has forced the United States could not speak. One time again, I call for the U.S. House of Representatives quickly have similar action to the U.S Senate to ensure that China becomes a more respected partner and abide by international standards”, the House Senator Eni Faleomavaega made warning. According to Mr. Eni Faleomavaega, in the South China Sea issue, China is acting in a “bad” way and he could not prove the role of a poweful and reliable country.
Meanwhile, the electronic portal Hexun of China has recently posted an article that intentional action to create tension in the South China Sea is absolute useless to the development of China. Beside the U.S, Japan and other Western countries, the countries of Southeast Asia have also denoted actions of solidarity and support for Vietnam after the China’s elegal deployment of oil rig Hai Duong 981 in the exclusive economic zone and continental shelf of Vietnam. The article noted that China's leaders can not underestimate the ability to mobilize the combined strengths of Vietnam if national sovereignty is threatened. The article also confirmed that the cause of China in the South China Sea is a wrong strategy.
On July 13, Gen. Herbert Carlisle, the U.S. commander in the Pacific warned that tensions in the Asia-Pacific region have been escalating and “negligences” increasingly to occur. Japan Times quoted Herbert Carlisle’s speech to reporters at Yokota Air Base in western Tokyo, Japan: “Tensions are rising” in the region when China strengthened making claims in the South China Sea and East China Sea.
Comment in an article in The Diplomat on the issue China turns “nine-dash line” into ten in the South China Sea, researchers Mina Pollman, an expert on political and foreign policy from Georgetown University in the U.S said that the expansion of China claims that they called “core interests” is an outdated tricks and ages backwards. According to this expert, since the 17th century, the State of Vietnam through various periods has carried out activities of exploring, declaring and enforcing sovereignty over the two archipelagoes of Hoang Sa and Truong Sa. This is not only recorded in historical documents but also in the text of the administrative agencies of State such as valuable legal edicts, wood-block in Nguyen dynasty.
Claim for nine-dash line of China is also rejected by just the  scholars in this country. Recently, the Chinese scholar Li LingHua, former expert at China News Center on Oceanographic, posted an article on his personal page which titled “How long does the nine dash line last”, which condemned attitude of some Chinese experts and media discounted Philippines when they sued China because of unjustified claims on the South China Sea. It argued that, once the International Court of Justice judge “the nine dash line” of void and if China reject the verdict, it will recognized by the Eastern Coast countries and international community.

VN fought the USA (and won), Vn has been fighting the Chinese for centuries (and won), and they're still standing. I think VN got a little cockiness coming. Small country, whose "physically tiny" people have proven to punch way out of their weight class.

Becuase vietnam was treacherously attacked. China never wins in a fair battle, only through snaky ways, thats the hard truth they need to learn.

China had invaded and occupied VN long before the French and the indochina war. China wanted VN to be its state. VN said NO. Now we write a,b,c.... Not Chinese.
