Mexico desires to strengthen cooperation with Vietnam

Mexico wishes to strengthen
political dialogues and promote friendly relations to further develop trade,
culture and scientific research with Vietnam and other countries in
Asia-Pacific.
It is confirmed by the Senator Teófilo Torres Corzo, Chairman of the Mexican
Senate’s Foreign Affairs Committee for Asian Pacific at a recent reception for
Vietnamese Ambassador Le Thanh Tung our country recently.
According to Vietnam News Agency correspondent in Mexico, at the reception, Mr. Corzo said that Mexican
Senate’s Foreign Affairs Committee for Asian Pacific Senate committed to
promoting relations in various fields of cooperation with Vietnam and Asian
Pacific countries in new stage of development. Mr. Corzo also informed
Ambassador Le Thanh Tung about the results achieved in the Parliamentary Forum
of Asia -Pacific held in Jalisco-an western state of Mexico earlier this year .
The Chairman Corzo confirmed that Parliamentary Forum of Asia-Pacific has
made new and important progress in issues related to the fighting against
terrorism and drug, food security, energy, green development, tourism, poverty
alleviation, migration and cooperation for mutual development. In addition, the
Forum also pointed out new challenges and find the most effective solution to
deal.
For Vietnam,
Ambassador Le Thanh Tung emphasized Vietnam
and Mexico
should enhance bilateral ties to share experiences in the fields of business,
science research and promote cultural exchange along with diversifying friendly
relations. According to Ambassador Le Thanh Tung, it is the most practical form
of contributions to the construction and development in each country. The
Ambassador also conveyed an invitation of a visit which paid by a Mexican delegation
of senators to Vietnam
in the coming time as soon as possible. / .
