Ho Chi Minh’s ideology in building “new style life”

The Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) on July 4th worked with the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics to hold a workshop on studying President Ho Chi Minh’s ideology on building “new style life” during the implementation of the program on building new style rural areas and advanced urban areas.
Addressing the workshop, VFF President Tran Thanh Man noted that clarifying President Ho Chi Minh’s ideology on the work “New style life” aimed to contribute to renewing the program on building new style rural areas and advanced urban areas.
Confirming the role of the work “New style life”, delegates agreed that the work had laid a foundation for developing new advanced humans, culture and society.
Prof. Dr. Hoang Chi Bao from the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, stressed that studying and following President Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality and style is to develop and carry out policies matching people’s aspirations. “These are policies benefiting people, clarifying information and showing responsibility of explanation, as well as publicizing the result of addressing problems, thus respecting people’s voices and decisions,” he said.
He added that practising “new style life” would contribute to help people trust in and follow the Party, thus supporting and protecting the Party and the regime.
Dr. Le Duc Hoang from the Party Central Committee Commission for Popularization and Education noted that applying President Ho Chi Minh’s ideology on “new style life” targets a renewal in farmers’ production and life, bringing better material and spiritual lives for the farmers as identified by Uncle Ho. “Therefore, in building strategies for national development, the Party, State and authorities should care for farmers, modernize agricultural production, reduce the gap of development between urban and rural areas, considering it a challenge in realizing social equality,” he went on to say.
Delegates and scientists during the workshop worked out practical initiatives and proposals for applying President Ho Chi Minh’s ideology in realizing the program on building new style rural areas and advanced urban areas.
The work “New style life”, written by President Ho Chi Minh in 1947, clarified the significance of building new lifestyle and worked out steps for building new lifestyle. His teachings created a great driving force to promote the success of the resistance war and national construction. Their significance remains during the current national industrialization and modernization in general, and in the program on building new style rural areas and advanced urban areas in particular./.
