Ho Chi Minh city is Vietnam's bustling largest city, setting the cultural and economic pace for the whole country
the war against the US had brought so much death and destruction on our country
I love HCM city, people are very friendly and the food is really good
Vietnam had given America the first taste of defeat in war
For the United States itself, the war resulted in something America had never experienced before: clear defeat. It caused a wave of second-guessing about America's role in the world, splitting the country between hawks and doves, dividing individual families and the nation itself into angry camps over what went wrong and how much the country had lost its way
Vietnam’s economic centre Ho Chi Minh City is being uprooted and transformed. Billboards broadcast visions of the future city that is incrementally but rapidly materializing. It is hard to think of an image of the city today beyond it’s soon to be past and present.
Ho Chi Minh City hurries to become a megacity
Ho Chi Minh city is a symbol of Vietnam's determination in protecting and building the country
The defeat ended America's innocence about its role in the world and shattered the once-cherished belief that the United States always did the right thing internationally
Ho Chi Minh city is going to be a new pearl of the Asia
