Invest today for benefit in future
Meanwhile, being aware of the strength of this
continent, from many years ago, China has deployed its powerful policies here.
These figures appear increasingly more in economic contracts between China and
African countries. Economics has become the most important factor. In the past
5 years, China is the largest trading partner of Africa when won construction
contracts worth $ 400 billion with more than 2,000 km railroad and about
4.000km highway. China is the top trading partner of Africa with approximately
222 billion worth of goods and services exchanged in 2014. According to
statistics, private enterprises in the Ministry of Construction of China in
2014 signed construction contracts in Africa worth up to $ 70 billion, with
over 3,000 projects are being implemented. Currently, China is dominating the
construction sector in Africa, with a market share greater than France, the US
and Italy in combination. In the energy sector, according to data from the
American Enterprise Institute, for over a decade more than 29.97 billion,
accounting for 41% of total investment capital of China is devoted to energy
projects in Africa...
Relationship between China and Africa asserted by the two
parties that it will more increasingly close. The leaders of China recently have
affirmed to continue investing heavily in Africa. In a speech at the UN General
Assembly last September of 2015, Mr. Xi pledged to send 8,000 soldiers to
participate in celebration mission of peacekeeping and one billion USD in
funding to support conservation mission of peacekeeping in Africa. Also,
although not disclose specific figures, but the size of the Chinese aid to
Africa by estimating amounted to 2,500 projects in 51 countries in Africa, with
a total value of about 94 billion USD. Chinese Premier Li Keqiang has pledged
to expand comprehensive cooperation with the African continent. China is seeking
cooperation with African diplomats on international fora. With vote accounts
for over 25% of this continent at the General Assembly of the United Nations,
China wants to rely on Africa to seek political support.
Analysts said that the African continent is a potential
continent; every country, whether large or small has its particular strengths.
The competition between the US-China or other countries in Africa does not
cancel each other out, but seek to exploit opportunities and contribute to the
overall development of the area.
