Outstanding overseas Vietnamese to mark National Day in Vietnam

As many as 32 outstanding overseas Vietnamese from around the
world such as the Republic of Angola, Canada, Cambodia, Laos, the US, Russia,
France, Czech Republic will return to the homeland to mark the 70thanniversary
of the August Revolution and National Day in Hanoi at the invitation of the
State Commission for Overseas Vietnamese.
They
are typical representatives, who have made many contributions to activities of
overseas Vietnamese community as well as the country and they are the leaders
of overseas Vietnamese associations and organizations.
During
this time, the overseas Vietnamese delegation will participate in various
significant events such as laying a wreath to commemorate heroic martyrs;
paying tribute to President Ho Chi Minh; visiting the Presidential Palace;
visiting and offering incense to President Ho Chi Minh at K9 historical site;
offering incense to commemorate General Vo Nguyen Giap; reviewing the troops
and joining a parade to mark the 70th anniversary of the August
Revolution and National Day.
On
this occasion, the delegation will also visit some historical sites and
landscapes in the country like Thang Long Imperial Citadel in Hanoi, landmarks
at Huu Nghi border gate in Lang Son province and Tran temple in Nam Dinh
province./.
